Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway
The Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway is a half-mile oval dirt track located west of Pittsburgh in Imperial, PA. Known as "Dirt's Monster Half Mile." Original event rained out, but rescheduled for Friday, July 31. The big rigs raced in front of the biggest crowd the track had ever had. So, when Saturday's race in Ohio was rained out, PPMS invited the big rigs to run a second night along with their scheduled race groups. And most of the big rigs did! Brant Arnold's truck was having issues, so he climbed in #88 along with Mike Morgan and broadcast the main event as it unfolded FROM INSIDE THE RACE TRUCK! In lap 2 the #9 truck slid into the side of #13 sending them both into the outside wall; both left the track on their own, but did not finish the race. The #01 finished a lap down. Mackvader moved up from 7th to 4th place.

Trucks #00 and #13 finished one lap down; the #8 and #01 trucks did not finish.
Congratulations to the winners: Austin Hoppe in #66 - 1st again! Michael Caesar in #16 - 2nd and Mike Morgan in #88 - 3rd.

The 20-lap American Big Rig Racing Series Feature began with Michael Caesar (16), from Mills River, North Carolina, on the pole and Austin Hoppe (66) lined up to his outside.Mike Morgan (88), from Wartrace, Tennessee, started third alongside Tanner Anderson (9), from Marshall, North Carolina, in fourth.
Following their three-wide salute, the Big Rigs rolled into formation and waited for flagman Nick Kocuba to unleash them onto Dirt’s Monster Half Mile.When the green flag dropped, Hoppe powered into the early lead with Caesar settling into second.Hoppe thundered down the straightaways, leaned on the Jake brake through the turns, and fired back onto the throttle as the massive trucks shook the speedway lap after lap.
Caesar stayed within striking distance, refusing to let the leader disappear.Around the halfway point, the two front-runners entered lapped traffic, adding another obstacle between Hoppe and a clean sweep of the night.Hoppe continued setting the pace, but Caesar remained close enough to make one final charge.
With two laps remaining, Caesar attacked for the lead and appeared ready to complete the pass.Hoppe found just enough speed to answer the challenge and held off Caesar over the final laps to win the American Big Rig Racing Series Feature. Caesar finished a close second, Morgan took third, Anderson crossed the line fourth, and Brant Arnold (F5) rounded out the top five.Hoppe completed a perfect night by also winning both the regular heat race and the inverted heat race for the American Big Rig Racing Series.
The second race of this double race weekend was rained out, so PPMS invited the big rigs back for another night. So we're in for another show tonight!

Early in the race #9 got loose and spun out. He recovered, but not before the Caution flag came out, hence the restart.
Mackvader started 5th and moved up to 3rd! Congratulations to Michael Caesar in #16 - 1st, Austin Hoppe in #66 - 2nd, and of course Mike Morgan in #88 - 3rd.
